Everyone knows and remembers the experience of building a variety of models. Building blocks have been around since 1942, entertaining the young and the young at heart for generations. Many experienced the enjoyment of playing with building blocks, which is why it remains one of the most popular toys even today.

The special Young Engineers activities for the golden age bring this incredible pastime back to those who miss how fun it is to work and play with building blocks. Each participant receives the unique Young Engineers set along with step-by-step instructions with large print and high-resolution images. The participants will build a fascinating mechanical and motorized model while a certified instructor provides guidance along the way. These workshops lessen the theoretical application in constructing but focus on the physical building of the models. As we age, we work very hard to keep our motor skills as functional as possible. Working with small building block pieces helps keep fine and gross motor skills intact for citizens in their twilight years.

Senior Citizens & Grandchildren Workshops Building blocks are timeless toys, a game that grandparents and grandchildren can enjoy and together.

Is there anything better than grandparents and grandchildren spending an afternoon together playing with building blocks? Run 90-minute activities for senior citizens and their grandchildren to learn and play together. One of our experienced Young Engineer instructors leads a guided workshop for grandparents and grandchildren to construct a model using additional electronic parts to make it move around. The children will have a great time playing while learning and spending quality time with their loved ones.
